The Canadian Rockies.......Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise and Jaspar. A great majestic, cool place to visit in August. God's country. A the $$$ exchange rate is unbelieveable.

I am one of those people who only want to go to each place ONCE and when I go, I do it the RIGHT way. I do a lot of research on the web and read all the guide books in the book store and read the Travel section of the NY Times religiously. There are just so many places in the world to discover and I don't want to waste time by repeating the same vacation. I year for adventure and love to explore. Vegas and Disney are a lot of fun but there are so many other eye-opening places out there.

I love to travel and have been to lots of places but if I don't get to the Rockies, especially Yellowstone and Montana, I really miss it.

We're going to Alaska instead this year and I'm already sad I'm not going to see the Rockies!! Somehow I think Alaska will make up for it. LOL

When we go to the Rockies, we take different routes and see new things along the way even though we end up at the same place.

We live in fairly flat and very hot northeast Texas. The mountains are just heaven for us.

We love Maui!! If I could afford it, I'd go there every year. Maybe twice a year. Heck, I would love to call that place my new home and move there!!!

We generally go to Lake Tahoe at least once a year. We will probably go again in the fall. We are only about a 4 hour drive away, so it's easy to make a 3 day weekend and go.
