Holy crap on the car rental thing. How could there be a $500 surcharge on renting a car at Dulles and dropping it off downtown??

Oh, and the rental car thing - a friend of ours rented a car at SJC and returned it at SFO with permission from the rental agency to do so, no extra charge. When she returned the car, they added about a $500 surcharge to the bill for a 1 way rental. My friend tried to make her case, but couldn't get the agent to budge and since she was trying to make her flight, she had to go. Fortunately she was able to get the charge reversed later - such a scam.
