Dupont Circle Sunday Night

If we go to Dupont Circle this Sunday night will everything (shops and restaraunts) be open, or do they close early on Sunday? Sorry for asking, but we're from a small town that shuts down on Sunday. Thanks

That's a good question - I know the restaurants will be open but a number of the shops MAY close around 5 pm. If you go to a shopping center - then it will close early.

That bookstore in Dupont Circle seems to be open everyday. I dont know the name but it has a restaurant in the back. It's very visible. I recall being there one Sunday and there were a number of shops open

Tandoori, I think you're referring to Kramerbooks. It is open on a Sunday, as are many restaurants in Dupont. Lots of shops will close early, but Dupont is always a lively area.

Most places will be open. It is a very lively area, even on Sunday night, and most businesses don't want to lose out. The exception might be office supply, hardware, and the like.
