Dupont Circle's Courtyard by Marriott

Would like to know reviews and opinions of the Courtyard by Marriot, DuPont Circle? Can you tell me about the hotel specifically, clean, quiet, pricey, location? And, where to get the best deal.
Thanks

Hope someone else replies, because I really don't know where the Courtyard is and haven't been there. However, in general, Dupont Circle, at least the upper part, is a pretty good location. There are plenty of places to eat, and Metro is nearby.

The Courtyard is across the street from the Washington Hilton. It's about three blocks from the Metro station in a very nice neighborhood.

It's not right at Dupont Circle, so that's a little misleading name. I stayed there many years ago when it was a Quality Inn or something. It has changed owners quite a few times. It is a cheap, ugly modern chain hotel, that's about it. I don't know what the rooms are like now, it could be okay basic accommodations if you don't expect much. The location is pretty good, although I would rather stay closer to the metro if I had a choice -- like at Jury's or something. I think the Courtyard by Marriott is about the ugliest hotel around there. I don't know that anyone can tell you about quiet. It's a large hotel, so the noise level depends on the management and your neighbors. It was extremely noisy when I was there because a lot of groups use it and were noisy and having parties in their rooms. That's the problem with some of those cheap chain hotels.

I tried this Courtyard a couple of years ago when I had long assignments in Washington. The location is a bit off of Dupont Circle area and it was quite a noisy hotel.
I then tried the Residence Inn in Dupont Circle and I really liked it there. It's quiet, the staff is very friendly, and at night there are many choices of restaurants very close by. I ended up going back there quite a few times.
