Lost Creek Ranch in the heart of the Grand Tetons at Jackson Hole Wyoming is nothing short of fabulous. Haven't been there in a couple of years but assume it is still operating. First class all the way for mom, dad and kids. E-mail if you want more info.

Grapevine Ranch near Tucson, Arizon is FABULOUS!! They have "theme" rides too, where you can join the cowboys for a real roundup. Go into their website and see pictures of the different cabins/rooms you can rent and prices. E mail me for their address, otherwise I think you can go into a search engine and type in "dude ranches"and it was at the top of the list. They will send you a brochure. Very nice people and their pictures are on website too!

The Home Ranch in Clark, CO near Steamboat Springs is a wonderful place. Lots of horses and activities plus lovely accomodations and excellent food. It is a member of Relais & Chateaux and can be found on their website.

We like Alisal Guest Ranch 40 miles nrth of Santa Barbara. It is a working cattle ranch with lots to do
from rides to canoeing to golf and tenis for the adults. It has a very good chef too.
We were there last spring without our children but
most of the guests were in family groups.
It is a very friendly place located on about 1000
acres.

C Lazy U Ranch has long been a Mobil 5-star resort. It is wonderful! It is in Granby, west of Denver. The horseback riding program is top notch and varied for all abilities, the children's program is a huge asset, and the evening activities are fun for the whole family. The food is one of the great features as well. Beautiful pool, tennis courts, babysitting, etc.
