Dude & Guest Ranches?

Looking into going to a really nice guest ranch experience this summer. We are a family of 4 kids 12 & 17. Last summer we went to a ranch in Cody, wy. "Bill Cody Ranch" Very nice but it did not have a hot tub and jacuzzi which is really nice after a long horseback ride. We want to specifically stay in Jackson Hole this time. Any one have any suggestions?

You need to put the destination in your heading. I opened this up ready to give a recommendation for a place in Montana.

I went there fall 2004, had a great time.

Sorry I did not put a destination. I thought I put this post in the wyoming section. We are looking for Jackson Hole Wyoming.

Thanks

There's no Wyoming section. You can pull up posts abot Wyoming but your new posts just go into the US section. I opend your post to give you a recommendation in Colorado. Jackson Hole in the summer is great but haven't stayed at a ranch there.

Padams421,

Thank you for the advice. Which ranch did you stay in Colorado? I would be interested in hearing where you stayed in Jackson Hole, even if it was not a ranch. Its nice to file away places that people recommended.

Thank you

Although it is not a Dude Ranch, the Jenny Lake Lodge at the base of the Grand Tetons has Riding, Biking, great hikes and fishing. Price included all meals.
Brooks Lake Lodge in Dubois (south of Jackson) is a nice dude ranch.

Best Dude Ranch in my opinion is the Home Ranch in Clark, Colorado which is located next to Steamboat Springs. Kids loved it and we made lifelong friends there.

Cherokee Park was a great ranch, and did have a hot tub! You should go to Ranchweb.com or get the book 'Ranch Vacations' by Eugene Kilgore. He lists and accurately describes many, many ranches

I agree with the post that recommended Cherokee Park Ranch. You will not be disappointed!

Put the Bucking S Ranch, Alcova into your future list. Check out my report on

for more details or if you make it down to Arizona then Grapevine Canyon - you can navigate to that report from the link above.
