Duck Tour Reservations
Will the Duck Tours be operating Oct. 15th? If so, who do we contact for reservations?
Thanks Jean
|
Yes. Go into their ticket window in the Prudential Center shopping mall. You sign up for a trip on that day (can't make advance reservations.).

I heard the Duck Tours quacked. For the rest of us living in very small holes, what are "Duck Tours"?

Donald

Boston Duck Tours are the "hottest" thing going in Boston Tourism. They are very popular tours of Boston by land and sea. They use old amphibious vehicles ala WWII and tour the streets of Boston and Charles River. They are quite expensive ($20 something per) but very entertaining (you also learn a little something about Boston).
As they travel around the city you hear "Quack Quack" from travelers and pedestrians.
Other places have them too. Hyannis for one.

Thanks, John.

Too bad the original poster wasn't as considerate. Sounds like a lot of fun.

By the way, the "Old Amphibious" vessels you mentioned were, in fact, called Ducks. They are both land and sea going. Kind of look like a convertable Humvee.

Donlald

There are also Duck Tours in several other cities, including Washington DC and London. Some of the US cities, including Chicago, discontinued theirs after a fatal accident last year.

You can book 2 days ahead on their web site - www.bostonducktours.com.

I thought the poster wanted info on the Duck Tours in Hot Springs, Arkansas!
They are so much fun and a real bargain.

Again, everyone is requested to be specific by naming the city and the state - preferably in the message TITLE on every post.
This post is a perfect example of why.
