I was at Dry Tortugas in the middle of February.....no croc!

Thanks everyone for all of your advice. We took the seaplane 1/2 day trip this morning and it was awesome. The only regret is that we didn't do the full day! (BTW, I'm also Miche67, but was forced to change my screen name one day when i couldn't sign in). KYCHRIS: Thanks for the snorkeling tip. Enjoyed it more than snorkeling at Sombrero light (which we liked as well). Yes, you really do have to swim "Out there," away from the moat wall. It took us a while, but we found it.

BTW, on our cab ride back, our driver did mention the crocodile (no prompting from me) that was out there a few months ago. He also said he hasn't heard about it since then.
