Driving to Sheraton Chicago from Michigan - where can I park my car?

I don't mind a park-n-ride as long as my car will be safe. I will be staying Sat, Feb 19 and returning Sun, Feb 20 - so I will need early am service back to my car. Any suggestions?

I don't want to pay $35 for parking!

I'm afraid park and ride probably won't be an option. None of the Metra or CTA stations allow overnight parking. The only possibility is to park in one of the airport (not CTA) lots at Midway and take the Orange Line in. There is a private lot on 59th St. across from the CTA station that is about $9 a day.

Did you contact the Sheraton Towers to see if they have validated parking for guests? If they don't, you're screwed. General parking in the area is sky high.

Do you mean the one near Michigan Ave. and the river? If so, you can park at the Millenium Park garage for $15.25 for 24 hours. If you go past 24 hours you'll pay ~$12 for the next 12 hours, so it may not be a great deal in that case. It's a few blocks from your hotel, so you'll probably want to drop off your luggage and then go park. It's located beneath Millenium Park, with an entrance off Columbus.

thank you very much jlm - this is exactly the help i was looking for! I have parked at the airport before, but didn't want to take the time to drive out and then come back into the city. I'll be in town for a quick over-night (friends surprise 50 at Shulas). Thanx again!
