could use help ! driving from naples florida to cleveland ohio, what are the most interesting places to stop along the way? and of course the best places to eat?

Do you have specific interests, such as history, nature, etc.?

When are you doing the drive?

How many adults, how many children, what ages?

How long do you have to make the trip (e.g., 2 days or 2 weeks)?

driving in june 2 adults 2 adult children, like to make it in 4 days. love to eat, cook, nature, nothing specific we like just about anything that would be worth seeing.

You mentioned "nature." I've found that generally means national parks. Since you're trying to do this in four days, you won't be able to detour a lot. Which leaves you with one national park along the way; namely, Great Smoky Mountains. Here's some advice from the NPS about wildlife viewing in that park.

Maybe through Chattanooga? Certainly Atlanta. Smokeys are pretty far east.
Maybe Pleasant Hill Kentucky for the Shaker Village.
Eat at the Golden Lamb in Lebanon Ohio, between Cincy and Dayton.
You could come up closer to the east coast and hit eastern NC for BBQ around Lexington NC. Then up i77 to the middle part of Ohio to Cleveland.

im an airplane buff, the Wright Patterson AFB/Air Force museum has an incredible assortment of planes--they even have a B52 INSIDE a hanger,with planes under its wings--its near Dayton.
We have good friends in naples and have made the drive from Atl many times, it takes about 10 hhours with a couple of stops, so atl may be a good spot to stop--see the aqauraium,MLK center and move on.I like Chattanooga, but its only 2 hours fromAtl--Nashville is a fun town if youre heading that way--you might check www.chowhound.com for good eats along the route and where to go
