Driving from Jackson Hole to Pocatello?

I am headed to Pocatello, ID for a wedding the first weekend in April and was thinking about flying into Jackson Hole and driving from there since I've heard the route is quite scenic. Is this doable (or advisable) in early April? An alternate possibility would be Salt Lake City to Pocatello, but I don't know how much there is to see on that route. The third option would be a commuter flight on Delta.

TIA

We used to drive from Idaho Falls (near Pocatello) to Jackson Hole and it wasn't bad at all. We did it in February and March. This was many years ago, so I don't remember all of the details, but I was pregnant and the drive did not seem very long, so thats a good thing, lol!

Thanks for the response. Anyone else who's done this recently? Anyone who can comment on the SLC option?
