Driving from Grand Junction to Telluride?
 
Do you recommend driving 141, rather than 50, from Grand Junction to Telluride?

According to Google maps, driving on Route 141 takes 5 ½ hours compared to 3 ¼ hours on Route 50.

141 IS more scenic. I've done it a couple times. If you have the time, and you don't need to go through Montrose, then I'd certainly recommend it.

Has anybody else drive both 141 and 50 between Grand Junction and Telluride?
