Drive time Albuquerque to Durango?
 

Mapquest indicates that the drive from Albuquerque, NM to Durango is about 4 hours, but from what I've read here I somehow get the feeling that it could be a bit less.

So how long is the drive? I'll post this message in both the CO and NM forums.

I'd count on the 4 hrs. There's no direct way and it is somewhat mountainous. But if DebitNM chimes, I'd definitely listen to her. This is her territory.

I think DebitNM is out of pocket today. She is the expert in this area and drives ABQ-Durango often! So heed her advise. ;)

Drive time from ABQ to Durango is 3 hours. I just got home from that drive, do it all the time. I can give specific directions if you'd like. Be back either later tonight or tomorrow.
