Drive from Naples to St.Petersberg: Safe?

I know this is probably a dumb question, so please, no judgemental comments.<BR>My husband and I will be doing this drive at night in a rental car. Is it silly to be nervous about making stops on the way (restrooms, gas, etc.)? I hadn't even thought twice about it until someone said to be careful and make sure we have a cel phone.

Completely safe, and only about a 3 hour drive so you won't even have to stop if it concerns you.

HHHRRR is correct: it's completely safe. We live in St. Pete area, have family in Naples, have done this drive a zillion times. Rest stops are clean and convenient. Have a worry free trip! By the way, gas will be cheaper the closer you get to St. Pete.

Sari, Don't worry. Stay on I-75. A very safe trip and an easy drive too.
