DRIVE FROM CHICAGO TO GLACIER NAT'L PARK

I'm trying to decide on whether to take I-94 thru North Dakota or I-90 thru South Dakota. I've taken the I-90 route before and quite enjoyed the Badlands and the Black Hills but I am wondering if I-94 will take me through some new and beautiful scenery. I'd welcome any suggestions. Thanks!

North Dakota's winters are so ferocious that few people can handle the challenge of living there. Thus, it's very empty -- which, to me, is part of its attraction. Theodore Roosevelt Nat Park is like Badlands Nat Park but without the crowds. Bismarck and Fort Union have historic sites, particularly if you're interested in the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
