Drive from Bar Harbor Maine to Calais

Is the drive from Bar Harbor to Calais scenic. I've driven South from Bar Harbor but was thinking about going north. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Haven't done it in a while, but from what I remember there are pretty long stretches with nothing but blueberry fields, which can be pretty in their own way. I don't think you'll see much of the ocean without going off Route 1. But you will go through some interesting towns and see some of the 'real' maine. Calais and Quoddy head are interesting, and you could take the bridge over to Campebello Island - Roosevelt's retreat in New Brunswick. Definitely worth the drive.

I didn't think it was scenic. For me, Acadia NP is the most scenic Maine coastal area.
