Dressing for Phoenix in Feb? And other info, if you please

We'll actually be in Scottsdale.

I'm guessing spring-type clothes rather than summer, right? Long pants but cotton? How about white jeans or jacket? Would that look glaringly weird? And shoes -- sandals? We'll be there for about 5 days, last half of February. Mostly we'll be in casual places but might get a bit dressy for dinner.

Also, I've got a nice list of restaurants and things to do, but if you've got any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Early spring, cool temps. Long pants, maybe capris if you are lucky. I wouldn't wear white jeans or slacks anywhere, anytime. I wouldn't wear white jacket either. Sandals, maybe, but most likely not very open ones. For nice restaurant dinners, I would wear simple slacks [khaki] with a nice blouse and a sweater or a skirt and same top.

For a really top notch restaurant, T. Cook's at the Royal Palms Resort. They also have fun, $2 tacos [very gourmet ones] on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I'd bring a pair of sandals and probably a pair of shorts, just in case. The weather is usually great in February, but you never know if it might be warmer than usual.

Nights are cool so bring a light weight fleece along just in case. No whites. It may be warmer than in the north but spring/summer colors are not seen,; it's still considered winter even in AZ.

'...warmer than usual' would be great!

The problem with traveling from here to warm places is that we have winter clothes and summer clothes. We don't get much in the way of spring. Here, the only sensible way to dress in April is to wear your winter coat over your shorts.

OK, no whites, something to combat a cool evening, sandals are OK (maybe).

Thanks.
