Dress code for brunch at Mr Bs?

We have reservations for the jazz brunch at Mr Bs this Sunday (assuming we remember to reset our clocks and get there on time!) We prefer not to dress up as we'd like to do other things afterward without changing clothes. Would "dressed up" jeans work? Not sloppy with t-shirts, but nice jeans with a nice top or shoes?

(By the way, I did a search for Mr. Bs on this forum and the only threads that came up were from 2001 even though I am positive that there are others.)

As long as you're not in shorts or a tank top you'll be fine. Dress codes are almost a thing of the past. You'll see it all from very dressy to very casual. Wear what makes you comfortable.

Thanks. I really do like to dress up for things, but when you're talking about packing extra clothes for 5 people, it becomes difficult. Adding a pair of dress shoes for my son and husband practically takes up a whole suitcase!

Oh, I SO wish there was a dress code, but alas, there's not. The last several times we've been there, there were people dressed in jeans and unattractive t-shirts.

Yup, I've even seen folks in shorts and tank tops.

But wear what makes you feel most comfortable both while there and lugging the luggage there.

You are likely to see all styles.

Oh and while you are there, try the BBQ shrimp, outstanding. Plus the bread pudding was great as well.

OP back from trip.

BBQ shrimp was good...I'm glad I tried it, but nothing I'm going to crave at home or ever have again. The bread pudding was fine. Actually liked it better at the little dive by Laura Plantation.

The dress code- everyone was kind of like us - nice-ish but not dressed up. Except one table where I think they just closed their eyes and pulled out whatever was on top in the suitcase.
