Dress Code?

Could someone give me some ideas on what a person wears on average to these restaurants (especially males)?

Isabella's - uws
La Tableau - E. Village
Bombay Palace - midtown I think

I believe none of these are fancy or elegant, but I'm concerned if we don't have time to head back to our hotel to get changed, after a full day out.

Thanks

Are polo shirts ok?

Le Tableau and Isabella's are not fancy, and a polo shirt would be perfectly acceptable. Casual elegance is the way to go at most NYC restaurants. I can't speak for Bombay Palace as I've never been, but I'd assume the same would apply.

Polo shirts are fine. Depends more on whether you're going for lunch and dinner. Isabellas is a big brunch spot and I've found that anything casual is fine--jeans, etc...

Those were all for dinners. Thanks!

Two weeks til we go, I'm excited. I have all of our reservations made! :)

Casual is fine with these places.

Particularly in the summer, casual is fine. Bascially whatever you want to wear to Isabella's and Le Tableau. I've never heard of Bombay.

Enjoy!
