Dream Vegas Hotel, what would it be

Why is it a dream hotel - I want ideas on what hotels I need to watch for deals in, so the best way is if you tell me what would be your dream hotel to stay in in Las Vegas, i fyou have been to Vegas, then I will look at those hotels!! Is it Luxor? Bellagio? Venetian? Caesars Palace, MGM Grand? and why... Thanks for the help!!

My dream hotel would have moving walkways to cover the acres between the rooms and casino, a non-smoking policy, more bars set up for faster waitservice in the casino, and guaranteed fresh linen (blanket, comforter). So, it doesn't exist yet!

I love the Bellagio! The location is mid-point on the strip. You can walk right next door to Caesar's and over the walkway to Bally's and Paris. The service
is great there and it doesn't seem to be as noisy. If you are looking for a young, party crowd- then I suggest Mandalay. I have also stayed at Rio which is off the strip and would not stay again as you need to take a shuttle to the strip. The pool is very small at Luxor. The pool at Mirage is very nice!

I love the Venetian. The rooms are spacious, and the whole hotel is upscale w/o being snobby. The Bellagio is great as well; and Cesar's is still very fun!

I was just in Vegas in January 07, and stayed at the Venetian in the Venezia tower. I'd debated between the Venezia concierge level and a suite at the Wynn, and chose the Venezia for the club level amenities.
After seeing the Wynn, I realized my mistake; it is so much nicer than the Venetian. (I'd thought somehow it looked weird in the pictures online, I wasn't impressed, but in reality, it's quite beautiful!)
Keep in mind that even the best hotels age quickly and the Wynn is the newest and the nicest. And I think it's location is just fine, an easy walk across the street to a huge new mall, the Venetian, the Mirage, etc.

If budget wasn't an issue, I'd pick Wynn, Bellagio and the Venetian in that order.

The Wynn is gorgeous and a great place to stay...new is so key to Vegas.
I do love the Bellagio!

Frankie..I was hoping that you would of stayed at the Wynn..oh well, next time..
;)

I'm not sure about DREAM, but we always stay at Bally's. It seems to have the least amount of kids (love 'em but not in Vegas) and is mid-way between the strip. Good deals too because it is not as "glitzy" as some of the others which have exploding ships and fireworks. You can walk right next door to Paris through the lobby.

Just one non-smoking hotel/casino would be exactly that, "Dreaming". I just wish it would come true.

Caesars Palace in the new Augustus Tower. I've stayed in the Palace Tower in a Petite Suite, which was excellent, but the new tower is supposed to be even better!

golpher~me too, but I do not think the casino floors will ever change. Good news though, the restaurants inside the casinos are now non-smoking. At least that is a step in the right direction!

Caesar's Palace - Great location, great casinos, great food, great entertainment, great staff....

They exceeded my expectations by far. In my experience with Vegas resorts, they have risen to the top and have a firm hold there.

Little_Man Feb 26th, 2007 06:58 PM

tahiti, I should've listened to you. Next time, I promise:)!

Why don't people ever mention the Paris? I stayed there my one time in Vegas for a meeting and really liked it. How are the others better?

SaraWOO Sep 26th, 2007 04:38 PM

Wow thats such a hard question because they all have such different themes. I think thats the fun thing about Vegas, that each time you go you can enjoy a totally different atmosphere. I like staying at a different resort each time I visit.

Which ever one you choose you might want to check out the promotional offers they give out it might through you one way or another just because of the freebees and the discount price they give.

The one where I win and they comp me to come back (so-far Paris Hotel)....Wynn, Bellagio, Caesars & Venetian are all good choices (unfortunately I've not been all that lucky at those properties) Enjoy!

My dream hotel does not exhist....well maybe it does as I have not stayed at 4S. Do they shut their pool down at dusk?

I have stayed at Bellagio and Wynn, and I hate that they shut down the pool area during misty skies and at night. Pool shutdown is my biggest petpeave in Vegas!

smartcookie Sep 26th, 2007 05:09 PM

The "best" ones are considered the Wynn (newest), Bellagio, and Venetian

Paris hotel is nice to visit, take pictures and go to their restaurants.
To stay there is a big mistake we've made.
Their suff is very rude and unfriendly.
