Downtown Orlando Hotel

There used to be a Sheraton Four Points downtown, near Lake Eola. I know it got sold, but I don't know to who. I am not pulling it up on Expedia, etc., and on Google it says Intra West, which I know is a kind of resort company. Does this hotel still exists, and if so, what's its name?

I am pretty sure it no longer exists. Are you open to other options?

I believe it is condos now. It was across the street from Lake Eola. There is the Eo Inn on the other end of the park, a small boutique hotel.

thurstonbb, you are correct. It is now known as The Metropolitan at Lake Eola <http://www.1st-choice-orlando-real-e...litan.html>.

That's the one. I know they are going Condo crazy there, I was not sure if they still had hotel rooms, though. The only other places I can find right downtown seem to be the Embassy Suites or that fancy one. I have heard some pretty negative things about the Eo Inn.

There is a Marriot next to the Arena. The Holiday Inn they turned into condos. The Westin is downtown and so is the Travelodge. About 8-10 blocks from the Westin, their is a Courtyard by Marriot and then about 5 more blocks there is a Sheraton on Lake Ivanhoe, which they just refurbished. Otherwise there isn't a ton of hotels downtown. Oh and of course the Embassy Suites.
