Downtown Minneapolis Hotels
Help!
I have to book a hotel for my boss, who will be attending a convention in Minneapolis in September. My top 3 choices at this point are the Hilton, the Hyatt Regency & the Millenium. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks |
The Millenium. Unless there is a huge price difference, and even then, I would say the Millenium.
|
The Hyatt would be my choice although I have not stayed at the Millenium. Definetly send him to the Oceanaire Restaurant in Hyatt for great seafood!
|
I've stayed at the Millenium about a year ago. VERY, very contemporary and "cool". If that's his taste-he'd love it.
|
I just stayed at the Hilton. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Prices tend to run somewhat high in their restaurant and lounges. Conveniently located in business financial district. Try Hell's Kitchen restaurant right around the corner. Great food for breakfasts and lunches.

QueenBean,
We recently stayed at the Hyatt, very good hotel. The Millenium is directly across the street. All 3 are on Nicolett Mall. My roomrate was 50.00 acquired on Priceline. Checkout betterbidding.com to learn how to use priceline and rebidding strategies. |
I lived in Minneapolis for ten years until 2002, my mother has business travel there every month and frequents the Hilton, I highly reccomend it, the Hyatt as a second. But the Hilton is in a better location and I'm with Jim on the reccomendation for Hells Kitchen. Best breakfast, and I always eat there when I visit my husband's family who still lives there. I also worked for the City Pages in Minneapolis with the food critic...
