Downtown Hartford Hotel
 

I'm going to a concert at the civic ctr in Hartford. I know the Hilton is connected, but I can't decide if I should stay at the Crowne Plaza or The Hilton. They are both pretty much the same price. Any suggestions ? Thanks : )

I love the Goodwin Hotel, right across the street from the civic center. It is fully restored and yet has its old charm. We like the restaurant too.

Dawn, I was also going to recommend the Goodwin, best Hotel in Hartford right across the street from the CC. Where in Ct are you? And thanks for the Disney info this a.m., the board is up and running again!

Any info about the hilton or the crowne royal would be great. The Goodwin is a little pricey for me, but thanks for your input.

Lovely town. I grew up just across the river, in Enfield! Now I'm in Weston. My (very old) boyfriend went to Suffield Academy. Small world.

hartford is a dump. the downtown is dead. Head to North Hartford or Frog Hollow to see what it's like to live in Hartford.
