It's not a typo--an airline chicken breast is a boneless chicken breast with the drumette still attached. I've seen it on a few menus lately.

Oh, it is definitely a "destination lunch" among Denver's elite.

I'll add another recommendation for Le Central -- it's a pilgrimage for us for moules et frites whenever we visit Denver . It's a comfy French bistro, nothing pretentious. Very reasonably priced wine list.

Last visit friends took us to Bittersweet. I admit I rolled my eyes when I saw the overdone "artisanal cuisine farm to table" thing but that place really delivered wonderful food. I still think about the smoked shrimp & scallops. And the olive oil ice cream. And the sour cherry sorbet.

Why did yousufatik pos the exact same thing as obxgirl??

Tabernash2 Apr 25th, 2014 08:39 AM

That is odd. Does obxgirl have two screen names?

Thanks for the explanation, martym. I suggest they change that name, though!

martym Apr 25th, 2014 11:53 AM

I agree

Something is odd. Yousufatik just joined and that was her first posting. Obxgirl has been around for a while.

What comment got deleted??

Tabernash2 Apr 25th, 2014 02:35 PM

Duplicate weird ads for a website, Deb.

Had a nice dinner at The Avenue Grill; thanks all!

Tabernash2 Apr 25th, 2014 08:49 PM

Thanks for reporting back! What did you have?

It's getting windy and cold out there now, eh?

DebitNM Apr 26th, 2014 04:53 AM

We shared potstickers for app. Hubby had bison, I had duck for mains. The only downside was that it was very smokey inside from grilling steaks? and we took that smell away with us, our clothes were pretty saturated with that smell.

Heading home today and it's warmer there. But windy too.

Tabernash2 Apr 26th, 2014 10:11 AM

Sounds good. We've never had smokiness there. I wonder if they burned something.

Safe travels home.
