Downtown Atlanta Restaurants

Flying to Atlanta 3/30 - 4/2 for a volleyball tournament. Will be staying at the Hyatt downtown. We need sugggestions for restaurants that a reasonably priced. Also, is there anywhere to purchase snacks, water, etc. in the downtown area? We are planning on using Metra. As always, thanks for your help!

What's Metra? Something new?

Dailey's is a big, fun, and good place to eat.

City Grill is wonderful and very reasonable -- but not cheap (I don't regard the two as the same thing, but not sure if you meant reasonable or cheap?).

OOPS, I mean Marta. We are from the Chicago area and that's what it is called in Chicago.

Oh, I should have guessed! I thought maybe there was a new moving skywalk, monorail, or something that I wasn't aware of.

Dailey's is great, but can be a bit pricey. Across the street you'll find Mama Ninfa's and Mick's. Mama Ninfa created fajitas in her signature restaurant in Houston. Great TexMex food. Mick's is the casual part of what used to be the Peasant group of restaurants. The menu includes just about everything you'd want. Between the two restaurants is the entrance to the Peachtree Center "mall". It's a mall that caters to the business crowd, but there is a food court in there with lots of options during the day.

There should be a shop there to buy snacks, etc.

Be sure to go to the Georgia Aquarium if you have time.

Marta is a great way to get around.
Also, try to go to "World of Coke" if you get the chance.

There's a food court in Peachtree Center, which is next to the Hyatt. You won't have a problem finding reasonably priced food as the area has lots of dining options for the nearby office workers.
