Doubts about JOJO in NYC, and restaurants reservations in Chicago and Washington D.C.

Hi everyone!
Going to NYC, Chicago and Washington in september. Is it true that JOJO restaurant in NYC is closed? And it is necessary to make restaurants reservations about a month in advance to eat in Chicago and Washington?
Thanks a lot already!

How far in advance you need reservations in Chicago depends on: how hot the restaurant is, the size of your party, the day of the week, the time, what conventions are in town. There are many fine places that can accomodate you with much less notice, many that do not accept reservations too far in advance, and many that don't take reservations, or where you wouldn't need one. Where specifically are you thinking of?

I do believe JoJo is still currently closed.

In DC, it would depend on the place, but probably two weeks in advance is sufficient for most ... but why take a chance, go ahead and book now. Welcome to DC. Ciao

JoJo is deifinitely closed and being replaced by a mediterranean restaurant which is not yet open.
