Door County Accomodations
 

My friend and I are taking a road trip to wisconsin and want to stay 2 nights in Door County. Plan to do some lighthouses, museums, fish boils; Need some suggestions for where to stay anywhere from Inn to Hotel. Hope you all can help with this one.

Try Homestead Suites in Fish Creek, homesteadsuites.com.. they are w/in walking distance of town, and have indoor & outdoor pools.

I really liked the Driftwood Lodge in Sister Bay.

We've booked into the Birchwood Lodge at Sister Bay later this summer based on comments on this site and rave reviews on Tripadvisor.com. They've got a good website with photos, floor plans and rates - do a search.

Can also suggest Blacksmith Inn in Bailey's Harbor

Harbor Guest House in Fish Creek. We stayed there 3 nights last week. Right in the harbor, great views and walking distance to anywhere in Fish Creek.

We've been going to Door Cty for 30 yrs to stay with my husbands parents. I would suggest staying in either Fish Creek or Sister Bay. Those 2 locations put you in the thick of things. BaileysHarbor and Jacksonport, Gills Rock and Ephraim are great, but with these two , you are in the middle of everything. Homestead is very nice, from outside. Since we stay at a "home" never been in a hotel. Be sure to hit Whitefish Bay Beach. Better than cape cod!

We have been staying in Egg Harbor at the Newport Resort Condos. This place is very clean, quiet and a great place. We have been staying there the last 4 years. There is an inside and outside pool along with a kids play area.
