"please comment on location"

Though I haven't stayed there, I work in DC and would love to comment on the location, if only you would provide an address...

You know, I think that is the old holiday inn on 14th at Thomas Circle. It wouldn't be my first choice of location (I worked in the neighborhood for 20 years), but it is okay. I would stay closer to Dupont Circle.

We stayed there last summer and enjoyed it. The staff was great. It was clean and had a funky, modern vibe. The rooftop pool was wonderful. It is about 2-3 blocks from a Metro stop and we walked to the Smithsonian, monuments, etc. I would recommend it.

Location is fine, although uninteresting. It is reasonably close to a Metro, a short walk to Logan Circle which has a lot of eateries and theatre. If you are not used to big cities, the area may feel a little desolate at night, although it is right along two major streets (Massachusetts Ave. and 14th Street).
