Dogs--Hocking Hills
Are dogs (on leash of course) allowed on all the trails in Hocking Hills?
|
Hocking Hills Ohio?
All state park campgrounds allow pets, and many have designated areas for pets. A maximum of two pets is permitted per campsite. Pets must be on a leash not exceeding 6 feet in length and must be under control at all times. Proof of rabies shots and a physical description of the animals is required upon request. With the exception of guide dogs, pets are not allowed in state park cottages or lodges. |
Yes, Ohio. Thanks. Some of the cabins (privately owned) say that pets are welcome.(We don't camp) We've never taken our dog before, so I couldn't remember if we saw any on the trails. Probably be a spur of the moment (maybe not even overnight) trip. Thanks again for the information.

Look at this website. It has a lot of the dog friendly sites in the area:

Thanks for that web site--I've bookmarked it for future use. |
