Dog Sledding?

Anyone ever been dog sledding before? Do you think it's worth $95 for an hour on the sled?

Haven't been (yet) but it would be worth it to me.

We went last year... and this might have been discussed here or on the Canada board...search dogsled rides...

Our time with Howling Dog Tours in Canmore/Banff, Alberta was very much worth the price and I felt we got a great value. For our family of five, we had our own sled, own guide and they were great with our small kids. (6,4 and 1 1/2) We each got a turn to "mush" the dogs (except the baby) and the total ride was about two hours with some time for a break. They taught our boys about how the dogs live, how they like to work and at the end, they got to pet them and help feed and water them. Rich and Dana ( the woners) were incredible and I would pay it again in a heartbeat. My boys are still talking about it... I think it's a great experience.... we usually aren't "tour people" but this was well worth it. I will answer specific questions if you have them. HAve fun!

We went dog sledding last year with sons 8 and 10 in Whistler. They thought it was one of the best things we've ever done. It was definitely worth the money.

We've done it twice. It was ok and would suggest you give it a try. However, not trying to be too negative, we were a little disappointed both time.
