Does this vacation exist?
I want to be dropped off on a deserted, tropical island for 3 or 4 days. All's I need is food, an ice chest, a radio, beer, a nice, secure tent, and whatever I can carry on my back. And maybe my wife. A portable television with satellite capabilities would be nice if it's football season. Any ideas?

The Dry Tortugas off the Florida Keys. National Park so no one lives there but you can camp.

First idea is take the 's off of "all's". It's "all I need..."

Gweneth Paltrow did something like that a few years ago (although it was more of a survival test kind of thing)where she went to a deserted island with a rope, some kerosine a water filter and some rice. You can probebly upgrade to food and beer. Check out GORP travel website and those Adventure Survival websites- they might lead you to what you are looking for.

Um, call Mark Burnett and sign up for survivor

I'm sure there are many islands where you can do this.
The Whitsunday islands off Queensland Australia are perfect, and your scenario can be arranged there.

To the grammar king: The objective here is to communicate. I did. You didn't. Take your grammar critiques elsewhere, bozo.

I thought ([email protected])
was a toid!

You can do that in Alaska. A boat from Glacier National Park drops you off and will pick you up a few days later. You can bring a kayak and food. You must, however, watch out for the bears.

Since when is Alaska in the tropics, nina?
