Does subway go from manhatten to bronx?

First time in New York City and we are visiting college campus. Does the subway system go from Manhatten to the Bronx?

Thank you.

I find www.hopstop.com an easy way to get info re: how to get from one place to another via public transportation.

Please note it is spelled Manhattan.

Every subway line except the G line and what are called shuttles pass through Manhattan.

I assume you are going to visit Fordham or Manhattan?

To get to Fordham from Manhattan, you might prefer to use the Metro North train from Grand Central terminal in midtown.

The subway goes to 4 of the 5 boroughs - not Staten Island. If it will go to/near the campus you want is another question.

If you go to hopstop.com you can input your starting point and the address of the college and it will give you directions by train, subway and/or bus.

I tried using hopstop on Sunday (Easter) and I suspect that's where my computer was infected with a virus.
My DS (computer science degree) was visiting and I wanted to show him the hopstop site--that's when the virus struck.
At least he was able to get rid of it for me!

Just a word of warning. Next time I'll use the Mac instead of the PC.
