I booked a hotel in Key west for 50% cheaper than the discounted price that i was going get the room for. I think its great, you just have to beware that you may get a hotel that you dont want.

You can go to www.biddingfortravel.com
and you can see what others have gotten when bidding in a particular area.

I love Priceline. The last time I went to NYC I stayed at the Marriott Marquis for $100 and this March I'm staying at the Millennium Broadway for $90. By all means read through biddingfortravel.com first, as they will teach you how to bid. I bid $90 for a four star hotel and got it right away.

Do as the above say and look at biddingfortravel to get a feel. Do not bid on any hotel less that 3*'s preferably 4. We stayed at the Millenium B'way last June for $110/night--a $440 room. That hotel seems to be going regularly now for $90. It is nice, good location, pleasant staff, rooms a little small but fine.

We bid for a 4 star hotel in London for 105$ and got the most fantastic hotel in a fabulous location. I am thrilled to have found such a great deal! London is very expensive city, and Priceline saved me some major bucks.
Judy :-)
