Does anyone have a review of the restaurant A.Sabella's in San Francisco?

Any comments would be appreciated.

At the risk of sounding obvious, have you tried Google? I entered "A. Sabella's San Francisco" and got hundreds of hits including dozens and dozens of reviews and comments.

I just checked tripadvisor.com and found quite a few reviews. Here's the link:

Here's another:

Sure JulieR could go to those places but maybe we value your opinions more than those other people- we don't "know" them. :)

No Patrick, I have not tried Google. I guess I wouldn't have asked the question if I did right? Thought maybe you would have had a first hand experience, but I guess not. Thanks for your comment edhodge..

At one time Sabella's was a great restuarant but now you can do much better somewhere else.

Sorry for bringing it up. But many people seem not to realize that they can find hundreds of current reviews that way, for both restaurants and hotels.

I wouldn't have made the comment if you had said anything like "has anyone here been to A. Sabella's recently" or "I've read mixed reviews, anyone with current comments?" Sorry I took you literally that you were just looking for a "review" and I told you were there were hundreds of them.
I'll try to remember next time to mindread what specific types of things you want.

And since you don't know me any more than those other people, I guess my own review, if I had one, wouldn't mean anything either according to edhodge.

In my opinion, it is touristy and over priced. Personally, I prefer Kuletto and McKormicks, which can still be touristy but is comfortable, has wonderful views and I like the food. I go there several times a year.

Julie, I know you're looking for seafood. A better deal might be to have some of the fresh seafood offered in one of the Italian places in North Beach. For wonderful views, take a ferry ride to Sausalito and back.

Patrick,

I, too, took her inquiry literally. She asked for a "review", so that's what I found for her. Our intentions were good. :-)

Well I also took her literally because she had already posted about SF seafood restaurants and I along with many others did numerous posts giving specific comments and ideas. So I thought this post was simply looking for an actual review of a specific restaurant. I'm not good at mind reading.
