Does anyone click on the adverts on this site?

Does anyone click on the travel ads for additional info or use the Expedia link to book anything? Has anyone clicked on the Nissan advert and decide to purchase a Murano or are these advertisers just wasting their money?

These advertisers definitely won't waste my time! Why would I click on anything here? If I want to buy a car I'd do a search for a car without joining Fodor's. I use Expedia a lot, but never through this website. If I need to check prices why would I join Fodor's first?

I click the CLOSE WINDOW button on the nissan ads.

But I will admit to linking to expedia from this site. I go there anyhow to check fares, and since I don't have it bookmarked it does actually save a step.

I use "AdSubtract", a program I bought at Staples for ~$20 that prevents them from displaying. The white space is still "held" and if I mouse-over it I see text on my browser (ie5) status line, or if I click the white area I'm directed there. Best $20 ever spent!

I'm afraid I occasionally click on them by accident.
