do you know of a hotel review site?
I am looking for a site where I could find reviews from travellers on hotels beside the usual trip advisor website.
I found one once but I lost the link.
Can someone help me?

epinion.com has some. Have you looked ehre on Rants & Raves? Doing a search for hotel reviews, one fo the websites that comes up is http://www.usatoday.com/travel/hotels/reviews-index.htm
Concierge.com is the website for Conde Nast Traveler & they have "best of" lists. There are then review sites for particular locations. Here's an Englsih site

Venere.com has reviews (but probably only for Europe).
Virgin.net has descriptions (possibly only for Europe).
Go to groups.google.com and enter the name of the hotel. You might come up with some reviews - or not.

Wow! so many replies, thanks to everyone. I know that there is a hotel review on Fodors but I am looking for personnal reviews from travellers.
I still did not find the review site that i had found and lost but I found new ones that are very good, thanks to all of you!

FYI - The hotel reviews here at fodors ARE personal reviews from travelers. You can go to the Rants and Raves section to read reviews of hotels that are listed there, and you can search this forum using the name of your hotel for other reviews if any exist. But they're definitely from people who are as real as on tripadvisor, etc.

Thanks jenifer, You're right, there is reviews by actual travellers in Fodor's Rant & Rave section but I did not find the hotel nor the city that I was looking for in it.
I also did not find it thru a word search.
