I sometimes think certain posters (from the nuances or tone of the post) think I must look like Beverly Hillbillies 'Granny' in an antebellum dress!...not EXACTLY :D. Belle

A few years ago someone started a thread asking what they thought posters looked like. Very few were accurate. I was described as tall, loved bright colors and dripping in jewelry.
I prefer earth colors and sea glass colors for summer( as well as creams/beiges) My spouse is 6'almost 5" inches. We look like mutt and jeff :)

Funny what mental pictures we create. I think some posters think I am a backwoods hick named "Kelly"...but really Kelly is my last name and I am not even "from" Alabama (though I am lived here for over half my life)!

It would be fun if a little picture of us was next to our name....but then agian it kind of fun to have mystery!!!!

About a year ago a poster told me that she imagines me to look like Jerry Hall. I was flattered, but this is completely inaccurate. I look much more like Anna Kourikova. It's such a bother when people stop me on the street to ask if I'm Anna. Then they refuse to believe me when I say I'm not. So at this point, I just sign the autographs, pose for pictures, and let them believe they've met Anna. It seems to make them happy.

P_M, don't tell anyone, but I look a lot like Isabella Rossellini, especially when we both wear our hair very short :D But when my hair is long, like now, I look more like Catherine Zeta-Jones :D

This thread is a riot. Cigale, I remember that thread from a few years ago. I was pretty new then, so I was really fascinated by the mental picture people had of various posters, compared to how the poster actually described him/herself.

I had a dream-like experience this afternoon. The phone rang and a woman said "Ciao." I thought it was a wrong number, but it was my SIL calling from Tuscany to tell us what a great trip they were having. She was sitting on the terrace of their hotel in Chianti country, watching the sun set and sipping a Lemon Drop that her husband had just made with fresh picked lemons.

This is their first trip to Italy, and she said "You didn't tell me how gorgeous it is here!" Yeah, right. Of course I told her -- she just didn't listen. You have to go to know!
