Dad has worked for Delta for 30 years as a mechanic in the bag room with Delta in ATL, and they hear calls over the radio all the time requesting to pull someone's bag off a conveyor before it gets to baggage claim so they can get into a vehicle and bypass walking through the airport after deplaning. Most recently he brought Kelly Osbourne and Britney Spears their bags.

Years ago I was on a flight with the Chicago Bulls-they were all in Coach except for a select few that were in first class. I was a little kid, though, so had no idea who anyone was-and did get the autograph of one of them that was 2 seats away from me. He was NOT pleased to give it.

I was on a flight with Sandra Burnhart. She had an entourage of people with her and they were scattered all over the plane.
And, yes, I too was on a plane with Elvis -- actually I was kidding about Sandra Burnhart but Elvis, he was for real.

About 15 years ago my husband was sent on last minute business [and therefore in business class] on British Airways from Los Angeles to London. Up in First were Charlton Heston and Patrick Stewart. Three years ago we were on the same airline, same route, same class [thanks to award miles] and who should get out at Heathrow but Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley. They were met by a special service rep and a motorized cart. We saw them as they were both putting on their dark glasses.

In September, I was on a flight with Mathew McConahay right across the aisle in first class on a US Airways flight from LA to Pittsburgh. He wore sunglasses part of the time, but once people started to recognize him he was pretty cordial. He was with one other guy, but was reading a script and pointing out parts he found interesting. It was pretty cool!

Ryan, thanks for the first laugh of the day--what an image that brings to mind (hard as I try to banish it)...
Scarlett, dare I ask--were you 'in the business' back in the day? Any clues to who the 'certain person' was? Gee, kind of nosy, aren't I?
