When he first said it, I thought he said venture capitalist, but I guess I was not paying very good attention as my husband picked up on it. My husband tried to explain it to me and the job itself sounds a bit sketchy. I have asked a million times, why not once has he flown? rode the train or rented a car?.... but he takes the bus each and every time (10 hours).

There are people who do "vulture investing." (Most of the time, they aren't the nicest people, but I digress.) However, unless he has a self-depracating sense of humor, he wouldn't have called himself a vulture capitalist. He would have said something like distressed investor, value investor, or turn-around financier.

sigh~ I wish I did~

If you own the hotel, you get to live in it...I think that is the way the rules work.
You can stay in a hotel for as long as you wish though, or until your husband forces you to come home
