Disneyworld in early march

Hi. thanks for all the help on hotels. Now
im looking into restaurants. Ive been looking at some guidebooks and they say you cant make real reservations, just priority seating. Is this true even in Epcot? also what places
would people recommend? I was thinking of
French and Morrocan in particular. Also will
early March be very crowded. We arrive March 7. I was hoping to beat the spring breakers.
The guidebooks make it sound hellish to take
the disney buses but thats what we will be doing. Any thoughts/advice? thanks in advance
jo

March is spring break time, but when we went to Disney in March the lines weren't bad at all.

A few years later we had to go during Easter week and it was awful.

Should be pretty tolerable March 7, with President's Day Week out of the way and Easter still a few weeks away.

We stayed in a Disney hotel during one visit and used the Disney transportation system - we didn't mind the buses at all, and it was nice to abandon the car for a few days.

We made "real" reservations at some restaurants. I highly recommend the Flying Fish next to the Boardwalk Hotel. It was great. We also really enjoyed Bongos (Cuban food) at Pleasure Island.

We went to WDW the week of March 6 a couple years ago and it was a whole lot more crowded than I expected, and that was when Easter was in April! The buses were always standing-room only, but it still beat driving and parking. We found the priority seatings to be just like regular reservations; we were always seated within 5 minutes of arrival. Hope this helps but don't let the crowds scare you off; Disney is wonderful and the weather should be great.

Always have a reservation or two (priority seating) for places you really want to try. Getting in at the last minute isn't easy. Also, lunch is much less expensive than dinner. Plus, you won't miss the evening show (Illuminations) if you make your sit down meal a late lunch.Get more info about Orlando and Disney at http://www.orlandotripplanner.com (Orlando Trip Planner.com).
