Hi! ...the latter part of my honeymoon will be at Disneyworld (after a stay in Aruba) and as I have not experienced DisneyWorld my future wife and I will be going there. I'm looking for any good advice or TIPS so that in the limited time we're there, it will be a romantic, enjoyable excursion.

My future wife and I will be there July 31 (night), August 1, August 2, August 3 and August 4 (day).

We're in our 30s; we're looking to emphasize ROMANCE --not rollercoasters (although I do love non-locomotive adventure)! and we'll be staying off-site at an upscale hotel (but expense is an issue).

So:

Any must-see shows??
Any must-see parks or rides?
Any must do or must not do tips??
Buy tickets in advance or down there?
Is a car-rental advisable or is having a car lots of trouble or not necessary)
Anything else that would make the trip memorable?

If you're staying off site - and I do reco that for a honeymoon - you will need to rent a car. Shuttles are inconvenient and can be unrelaible.

I would definitely do Epcot and perhaps MGM. Also Sea World - curators have lots of info if you bother to talk to them. Magic Kingdon has litle for adults - don;t know about Animal Kingdom.

For a nice casual dinner do Hemingway's at the Hyatt Grand Cypres - and do stroll through their grounds afterwards- very pretty - and romantic.

I think that sound's like a great honeymoon! Epcot Center is romantic and so is Magic Kingdom. I do think you should definitely go to Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure they are more adult oriented and there are more serious rides but I live in Florida and have been to the parks many times and I would not miss those!!

I'd like to recommend www.wdwinfo.com and www.allearsnet.com as sites with wonderful information. www.tourguidemike.com is another great sight but there is a subscription fee. All of these have great information about rides, shows, and dining. tourguidemikes can also offer touring plans and recommendations as to the least crowded days for a given park.

Shows: Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom lodge is great. Fantasmic (MGM Studios)& Illuminations (Epcot) are also good. I really like La Nouba (Cirque du Soliel / Downtown Disney).

Restaurants: We love Mama Melrose's at MGM Studios but I've also heard good things about the Brown Derby.

People have great things to say about Victoria & Alberts at Disney's at the Grand Floridian resort. A reservation at the California Grill (Contemporary resort) during the fireworks is also very nice.

Epcot is restaurant heaven - just check the sites I've listed and your bound to find something that interests you.

A romantic excursion is to take the boat (free) from the Contemporary resort to the Wilderness Lodge resort during the time the fireworks are going off at Magic Kingdom. It's romantic.

Also, walking around the Polynesian resort after dark is always fun.

You mightsave money if you buy your tickets in advance and you'll avoid the lines.

We went to Disneyworld for a anniversary trip and we found it romantic but we have kids - any time we're alone, it seems romantic.

I would suggest the Cirque De Soleil show at Downtown Disney. My husband and I love it. Also, maybe try going to Discovery Cove at Sea World. I hear it is wonderful! Since you will be in prime summer heat here, I would also suggest going to a Water Park like Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.

You will need a rental car in the Central Florida area.

Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian serves up a very romantic dinner. If you make a reservation at the right time, you can also see the fireworks show from the comfort of your table. If you explain it's your honeymoon, they will certainly seat you at a good table by a window.

I, however, will diverge from the rest of the pack and suggest that you consider staying on property at a Disney hotel within your budget. There is nothing romantic about having to drive everywhere. The beauty of staying on property is that they have monorails, boats and buses (depending on where you stay) that will take you everywhere on Disney property. So, if you guys want to head back to the room at 2 PM for whatever reason (being that it is your honeymoon), you can do that easily and head back to the parks later. Just my $.02.

Epcot at night is fun and romantic. Have a romantic dinner in one of the themed restaurants in the World Showcase. Have margaritas in Mexico. Get a good spot for the fireworks.

Avoid the parks during the day. Go early mornings and after 5PM.
