Disneyland's 50th Anniversary

Anyone going to Disneyland next year for the 50th anniversary and when do you plan to go?

Oh, my god. Am I that old? I vividly remember watching the opening on TV!
Thanks for depressing me, hawaiiantraveler.

Will it be as good as the (25th? It was about 1997 I think) anniversary at Disneyworld, where they covered the castle in "pink fluff"? The castle always looked so grey and dismal after that display. They gave out great free memory poster and pins for that anniversary also. It was our first trip there.

Doesn't Disney do an anniversary every year. Great marketing. I think Daisy's is coming up.

Just by luck in timing we are going. We had already planned a trip to California in early May and then DD mentioned the anniversary thing.

WOW, my aunt and uncle took me there the year it opened, I was only 4 years old. Maybe I should ask them if they will take me again...LOL!

Yikes! I'm as old as Disneyland! Well, I might just have to go there next year to celebrate the big 5-0.
