Disneyland tickets question -Been there? Please respond!

Bought California Adventure tickets recently on ebay, they are not park hoppers, they say must be used by same person both days. However, this will not be the case. Does the park have any way of knowing this? Also, it says it is for S. California residents only. The one who bought it is a resident and the first day was used by a resident, however the second day of the two day pass won't, foresee any problem?
Thanks
Ken

Last time I was there about 3 years ago you had to show an id for a California resident pass. (I know because I was with a California resident and they wouldn't let him by my ticket without a Ca. id). It may have changed but I doubt it...

They are strict with the resident passes.

I would call the park.

To the two kind souls who replied and others, the question is not about really getting the discount by showing id, but rather, once you have your tickets already and want to go through the turnstyles do they ask you to show anything again or just the tickets.
Thanks
Ken

No, they will not ask for an id from a ticket holder. There is a bag search.

They're running a promo for so cal residents now where you get two parks for the price of one which sounds like what you purchased off of ebay. I've used these tickets and other than the initial buy, they do not ask for i.d. when entering the parks. I actually gave my other park ticket that I wasn't going to use to someone waiting to buy tickets and they just walked right in.

WE bought the two day pass in October and only needed to show id on the initial purchase. The second day we entered the park and did not have to show any id. I think you are safe.

mI think you should buy a park hopper.
they are a better value, and yes, you have to be a so. cal. resident for the ones you bought. they do ask for i.d.
