disneyland in february
 

We are thinking of going to disneyland From Feb 3 to feb 9 2002. With the Olympics beginning shortly after will disneyland be really crowded or will it not have much effect?

We've gone in Feb before and found it not crowded. You'll be there during the week too which will be good. In Feb as with other low attendance times there will not be the usual parades and entertainment but you'll be able to get on the rides easily. Also when attendance is low some restaurant facilities are closed. Check their website for closures. <BR><BR>The effect of the olympics will probably be minimal as Disneyland appeals to a little different crowd than the Olympics. Not that there aren't folks who like both but families with small children would probably choose Disneyland over the Olympics.

We've been in February before and it is usually fairly uncrowded. That is not a holiday weekend so you have the advantage there. And the 3rd is Super Bowl Sunday so that should keep the football fans away from the park for a few hours. I don't see how the Olympics would have an effect unless you are considering people will go to Disneyland on their way to Salt Lake City? <BR><BR>The park has shorter hours on the weekdays and less parades, etc. but I think it's worth it for the smaller crowds. Be sure to take advantage of the Fast Passes as much as you can, they are really great.

might want to check what rides are shut down. they usually close two at at time for maintanence and with february being slow they might do more maintanence then. <BR>i heard that thanksgiving & superbowl were the best days to go to disneyland...NOT...i went on thankgiving once & out of the 6 or so times i've been there, that was the most packed.<BR>use the fast passes. have fun. i love it.

I was thinking of going this Feb. too, but then I went on Disney's website. A lot of the rides will be closed in Feb.--you might want to wait until April when most of them will be up agian.
