Article in our Sunday paper mentioned "specially designed castle kiosks" being set up in 350 of the Disney stores thru out the US with some deals available only on the kiosk. 4-day Park Hopper tix for family of 4 (ages 10+) were $48 less than purchasing online at disneyworld.com, also guest can book on-site accom. throught the use of a vacation planning hot line available only to disney Store ticket purchasers. (I searched for the story at www.timesunion.com but didn't find the article online)

You have to stay on Disney property to get park hoppers.

There are a couple of websites that have ideas about discounts in and around Disney. Try www.mousesavers.com and www.disboards.com. They had special deals for So. Cal. residents when we were there in October 2002 but we weren't able to find discounts.

But we did buy 2 day hopper passes that we didn't think existed at our hotel, the Best Western Park Place, right across from Disney but not a Disney property.
