Disney World Information
My husband and I are going to WDW for 3 nights and 4 days at the end of September. I have 2 main questions: 1) Is it worth it to take a day and go to the Universal Islands of Adventure and 2) my husband is a vegetarian (eats cheese & eggs) -- has anybody had a nice veggie friendly dining experience at the WDW restaurants? We are staying at the Yacht Club.
Thanks in advance! |
If you are staying on property at Disney, I'd save Universal's IOA for another trip.
IOA is the most fun park in Orlando for adults who like thrill rides. |
Thanks Go. That's what we were thinking since this is kind of a quick trip, and we wanted a little time to chill by the pool. But then again, my husband might be really into the rides. Sounds like they are excellent.

The vegetarian option should not be a problem. In Epcot, almost all of the "countries" offer a veggie option. Epcot is walking distance from your hotel and you can go in and out just for meals if you have a park hopper pass. Check out the restaurants section of wdw.com for detailed restaurant descriptions. My favorites are California Grill at the Contemporary, the habachi restaurant in Japan and Spoodles on the Boardwalk.

On wdwig.com (or allearsnet.com)there is a section that contains most of the menus at the restaurants in WDW. You can scout out in advance the places that have the most options for you. There is even a section for vegetarians. Have a great trip.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Sounds like the veggie thing will be easy and I think we are going to try to cab it over to Universal for one day -- I think my husband will love it.
