Disney World

I'm going to Disney World for the first time, staying inside the park and I want to know if you can go touring outside the park, like to Sea World or wherever?

Staying in a Disney Hotel is not like staying in a prison. You can go wherever you want....

I live in Orlando. You can do whatever you want as long as you have the $$. You'll need to take a taxi (or rent a car) to get to Seaworld or Universal Studios from Disney. Oh by the way, Seaworld just increased prices again ($52 for adults) - the other parks will do the same shortly.

Thanks for the tip on the price increases, I'll keep that in mind.

Mears Transporation offers shuttle service for about $12 dollars from WDW to SeaWorld and Universal.
Go to www.disboards.com for all sorts of information.

I would highly recommend Sea World. It is one of my favorite parks. There are usually coupons if you can get your hands on a entertainment book.

I concur with everyone that you should go to Sea World for a day (we usually take Mears shuttle if we don't have rental car). I'd also recommend going to Downtown Disney at night for dinner. Lots of restaurants to choose from and the action is very lively. Enjoy!
