Disney World

Hi:

Couple of girlfriends going this weekend to Orlando for a bachelorette celebration. We are going on a budget and would like recommendations regarding Disney eats (good&inexpensive-is it possible?), night entertainment: ex-Pleasure Island, any other ideas?
We are staying on a hotel on International and also any comments on shopping? Saw great malls & outlets! Are any of them a must?
Thank you.

If you're looking for good food, I'd recommend Epcot(international showcase has some good places) or MGM. We've done lunch at the Rose and Crown (UK), lunch and dinner at Chefs du Paris, Der Biergarten (Germany) several times and had a great time. Mexico was so-so, Italy was overpriced. In MGM, we liked the Prime Time Cafe but be prepared for major kitsch, Brown Derby looked too expensive. In the Magic Kingdom, we've always had dinner at Tony's Town Square. It has good food and a great spot for the night time parades. You'll spend easily $15-20 per person at these places but the 'inexpensive' eats on property will run up to $10 or $12 and that's a stand up, line up nearly fast food kind of place. Since there are so many children in Orlando, a lot of the restaurants in and near the parks will be geared to them. We had a very good, but expensive steak dinner at Charlies on year near the convention center. Good luck!

Brown Derby wasnt much more expensive than others. As a bonus for eating their: If you plan to see Fantasmic go to Brown Derby in the morning when you arrive make reservations for dinner before the show and you will get a prefered seating with NO waiting. While everyone else is gathering for the best seats you will be eating and then escorted through a different gate to get to your seats. VIP!! have fun!

I was wonder if anyone knew what restaurants accept disney dollars earned on the disney credit card. I would like to make priority seating reservations and wanted to use my disney dollars.

Check with Disney for the dollar redemption, I'd be surprised if any restaurants in the parks didn't accept them. Also, I'd imagine all in the marketplace/downtown disney do as well, although maybe some of the independently owned ones don't.
