Disney with a Service Dog

Has anyone done Disneyland with a Service Dog before?
How were you treated?
What did you do with your dog while you were on the rides?
Do you know of a phone number I can call and get additional info? I've been to the website and can only find a number for reservations and recorded info.

I would imagine a cast member at the ride would watch the service dog for you while you are on the trip. Call Disney and ask to speak with someone specifically as their automated answer isn't cutting it with you. Call central reservations if you cannot find another number. They will at least be able to point you in the right direction.

Thanks, but that's what I already thought. I was wondering if anyone has first hand info.

Try posting your question on disboards.com. They have a board specifically dedicated to touring WDW with disabilities.

theladyjess - went over to disboards to see if it was still down. Saw your question posted. Hopefully you'll have some responses soon.

I have the same question posted on disboards, but still haven't recieved any good useful info.

I know I'm not the only disabled traveler out there. Any other suggestions?

I did a google search on "disabled traveler in Disneyworld", which got me to this site:

http://goflorida.about.com/library/b...guide_attr.htm

It mentions a special booklet you can order FROM Disney to answer your questions.
