Disney Tickets
 

Went to Disney last year and took our son & daughter-law. We bought 3 day tickets and only used 2 days. They finger printed us. We paid for the tickets and want to take our other son & daughter-in-law. Disney says these tickets can't be used, seems like there should be a way around this...what if someone dies? Anyone help?

Unlesss you paid for the "no expiration option" on your tickets you are SOL. Tickets must be used within 14 days of first use.

They did not "finger print" you...you were finger scanned it is a new thing they are using to cut down on stealing and forgery of tickets. Every person passing thru the turnstiles has to put their ticket thru then has to place their fingers in the scanner.

If you die...then you are dead and you really ahve not need to go to WDW anyway. It is for the living.

If your tickets aren't expired, those finger scanners aren't very exact. I think they use a system where the size of your fingers is used. I used my brother's mother-in- law tickets and had no problems - we have similar size hands. I wouldn't use my dad's, for example, but I wouldn't hesitate to use my sister's.

There is some difference between length of stay tickets and regular park hoppers.

If Disney has said the tickets can't be used, then they probably cannot be used. Call and speak to someone else.

Considering you have to pay extra for non-expiring tickets, and you didn't, I would have to agree you're SOL. Think of them as an expensive souvenir at this point.
